Job description
GovCIO is currently hiring an IT Technical Manager with an active Secret clearance to serve as a technical lead for an enterprise management team, SQL and Oracle DBA team, SharePoint team, and COTS administration team. This position will be in Fairfax, VA, and will be a hybrid position.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of system administrators and engineers supporting critical federal systems

Assign and prioritize tasks in alignment with mission requirements and SLAs

Provide technical direction, mentorship, and performance management

Ensure high availability and resilience of mission-critical systems

Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning

Perform hands-on support of Enterprise SQL databases
Requirements
-
High School with 10+ years overall systems experience in Windows OS, SCCM/MECM, SCOM, SQL DB administration, COTS application, and SharePoint administration (or commensurate experience)

8-10 years of leadership experience of system administrators and engineers

Strong customer-facing and stakeholder communication skills

Problem-solving and decision-making capability

Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation for compliance and operations

Familiarity with vulnerability management tools (e.g., ACAS, Tenable/Nessus/Qualys)

Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and hold DEA suitability
Preferred:
- Experience with ServiceNow ticketing
