Job description

Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a technology organization, is seeking a skilled Senior Payroll Implementation Project Manager. This role is responsible for leading a large-scale payroll platform migration, managing enterprise HRIS and ERP integrations, and overseeing payroll data conversion and validation activities. The ideal candidate will drive project execution from planning through go-live while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and stakeholder alignment throughout the implementation lifecycle., * Lead the end-to-end payroll implementation and migration project from initiation through post-go-live support

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables
  • Facilitate project kickoff meetings, status reviews, stakeholder updates, and governance sessions
  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams involving Payroll, HR, Finance, IT, and third-party vendors
  • Define and document payroll business requirements, operational processes, and system specifications
  • Oversee payroll system configuration, interface development, reporting setup, and integration activities
  • Manage payroll data migration, reconciliation, validation, and audit processes to ensure data integrity
  • Direct testing activities including system testing, parallel testing, user acceptance testing, and payroll validation
  • Monitor project risks, issues, and scope changes while escalating critical items as needed
  • Lead go-live readiness planning, cutover activities, transition support, and project closeout documentation
  • Manage general ledger interface mapping and payroll-related ERP integration requirements
  • Implement change management and adoption strategies to support organizational transition efforts

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience leading payroll implementation projects and payroll transformation initiatives
  • Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now
  • Hands-on experience with ADP GlobalView
  • Experience managing Workday HRIS integrations
  • Expertise in payroll data migration, conversion, validation, and reconciliation processes
  • Experience developing and executing payroll testing strategies and validation plans
  • Knowledge of U.S. payroll processing, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Experience managing large-scale enterprise implementations with multiple stakeholders and vendors
  • Experience supporting ERP integrations, including general ledger interface mapping, * Master's degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field
  • Experience integrating payroll platforms with Oracle ERP environments
  • Experience managing global or multi-state payroll implementations
  • Knowledge of payroll reporting, auditing, and data governance practices
  • Experience leading enterprise HR technology transformation projects
  • Familiarity with benefits vendor integrations and benefits administration processes
  • Experience supporting payroll platform consolidations or system modernization initiatives
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or related project management certification
