This role combines core platform engineering, infrastructure automation, and tenant enablement to ensure the platform is production-ready, observable, and secure as part of a broader data center migration. What You'll Do Platform Engineering & Infrastructure
- Design and build scalable platform infrastructure using Kubernetes (OpenShift preferred)
- Integrate compute, storage, and networking components, including object storage systems
- Configure foundational infrastructure (firewalls, load balancing) in partnership with network teams
- Support migration and buildout activities for enterprise data center initiatives
Multi-Tenant Platform Enablement
- Enable onboarding for 70+ tenant applications
- Define access models, resource allocation, and environment configurations
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure smooth tenant adoption and usage
Observability & Operations
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and dashboards across the platform
- Build observability frameworks using tools such as:
- Grafana, Prometheus
- BigPanda, PagerDuty, ThousandEyes
Automation & DevOps
- Develop infrastructure automation and deployment workflows using:
- Terraform, Helm
- GitOps practices (Argo CD preferred)
- Support continuous delivery and operational efficiency
Security & Compliance
- Implement and enforce platform-level security controls aligned with enterprise policies
- Support compliance requirements and secure multi-tenant operations
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with networking, security, and infrastructure teams
- Contribute to solution design, requirements, and delivery execution
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering or Platform Engineering
- Strong expertise in:
- Kubernetes (OpenShift preferred)
- Linux systems
- Experience building enterprise platforms from the ground up
- Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring tools
- Experience with infrastructure automation (Terraform, Helm)
- Familiarity with GitOps practices (Argo CD preferred)
- Experience using ServiceNow or similar tools, * Experience with:
- Execution engines such as Spark or Trino
- Data table formats (Iceberg, Hive)
- Metadata and lineage tools (DataHub)
- Strong observability expertise (monitoring, alerting design, dashboards)
- Experience building large-scale, multi-tenant platforms
Nice to Have
- OpenShift networking:
- Ingress/egress control (secure north-south traffic)
- Load balancing and high-availability service exposure
- Network segmentation & isolation across tenants/namespaces
- Kubernetes/OpenShift Network Policies:
- Default deny models
- Least privilege communication patterns
Additional Information
- NexusOne experience is a plus but not required
- Strong Kubernetes/OpenShift/Linux experience is essential if NexusOne is absent
- Role focus will shift between platform buildout and tenant enablement based on priorities
