Systems Administrator

We're seeking a Systems Administrator with strong Microsoft Azure experience to support and enhance a modern cloud and infrastructure environment. This role will focus on managing hybrid systems, improving performance and security, and supporting ongoing cloud initiatives., * Administer and support Azure infrastructure (VMs, networking, storage, Azure AD)

• Manage and maintain Windows Server environments (on-prem and cloud)
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security
• Support O365, identity management, and access controls
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and patch management processes
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and provide end-user support as needed
• Assist with cloud migrations and infrastructure improvements

• 3+ years of Systems Administration experience
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS/PaaS)
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking
• Experience with PowerShell scripting
• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards
• Experience in hybrid environments preferred

Nice to Have

• Azure certifications (AZ-104 or similar)
• Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
• Exposure to Intune, Endpoint Manager, or M365, Requirements - Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Azure in a production environment.
• Strong background with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 Enterprise platforms.
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and identity or access management concepts.
• Experience supporting containerized or cloud-hosted workloads, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Familiarity with virtualization and backup technologies such as VMware and Veeam.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including firewalls, VLANs, and infrastructure connectivity.
• Ability to support both Microsoft and Ubuntu-based environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, prioritization, and communication skills in a systems administration role.
