Job description

Anheuser-Busch, LLC seeks a full-time Principal Product Owner based in New York, NY. Responsible for driving the Strategic Technology Roadmap and leading a team of IT product owners that are part of the NAZ Tech team, delivering technology products from conceptual design through implementation to end-users and that are core to the business, cost-effective, sustainable and provide competitive advantage to Anheuser-Busch.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Ensuring alignment of technology solutions with business strategies

  • Utilizing in-depth knowledge of technology to identify and communicate how technology can support the achievement of short- and long-term business goals

  • Establishing and maintaining a strategic relationship with appropriate level key stakeholders

  • Leading stakeholder business planning and strategy meetings

  • Participating in short- and long-term strategic planning sessions with clients to improve business processes

  • Communicating with business leaders and product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure awareness of progress, risks, and results

  • Leading the delivery of information technology products in their business function

  • Managing a team of IT product owners

  • Creating one-year and three-year plans in partnership with business stakeholders;

  • Providing strategic consultation to business and technology teams

  • Advising on options, risks, costs versus benefits, and impacts on end-user products and services, business processes and system priorities

  • Ensuring technology solutions support the organization's short-term and long-term business goals/strategy and aligns with IT strategy

  • Analyzing technology trends to determine value to the achievement of organization goals

  • Identifying opportunities and performing assessments and providing recommendations based on business relevance, appropriate timing, technology, implementation, and deployment

  • Monitoring IT delivery progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met

  • Establishing and managing strategic vendor partnerships to enable efficient delivery.

  • This position supervises approximately ten subordinates in the position of Associate Dev Leads, Sr. Dev. Leads, or Portfolio Manager. This position requires 5% to 10% travel (mostly US domestic travel) for internal business meetings, * Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following: 1). Performing agile product development and software engineering disciplines including designing and delivering technology solutions for multi-million dollar transformation programs impacting users across one or multiple departments 2).Ensuring technology solutions support the organization's short-term and long-term business goals/strategy and aligns with IT strategy 3).Using the following tools/technologies: Jira, GitHub, PowerBI, Databricks, Lucid Chart, and MS Office 4).Creating and building partnership with business stakeholders to align IT solutions with business needs 5).Advising on options, risks, costs versus benefits, and impacts on end-user products and services, business processes and system priorities. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently.

Requirements

  • This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field and 10 years related (progressive, postbaccalaureate) experience.
