Job description

The Dynamics 365 Business Principal Analyst serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into well-defined requirements and scalable Dynamics 365 solutions. This role focuses on optimizing business processes, improving data quality, and ensuring Dynamics 365 is configured to support organizational goals.

As a Principal Analyst, you'll lead activities to review current processes and metrics that support operational effectiveness, identify constraints or opportunities that inhibit or accelerate the business and technology strategy.. You'll also be accountable for the development and review of data artifacts to ensure they accurately describe current state processes, practices, and/or metrics, determining root cause for constraints in the process. Additionally, you'll take part in the identification of alternative processes and practice options with associated impact on KRIs/KPIs or Operational Metrics. You'll also track and communicate enhancements to the current process and practices as to whether the desired results are being realized using data, metrics, and other quantitative measures. Additionally, as the Principal Analyst I, you'll engage with enterprise subject matter experts and stakeholders to tackle complex issues or opportunities that require significant coordination and alignment across different business units. You'll be accountable for understanding the problem statement or opportunity, capturing current state insights while also providing options and recommendations to the identified stakeholders. In this role you'll also identify, socialize, and gather necessary approvals for the upkeep of, KRIs, KPIs, and Operational Metrics.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into Dynamics 365 configurations, feature, and acceptance criteria.
  • Analyze and map current-state and future-state business processes.
  • Configure and support Dynamics 365.
  • Collaborate with developers, solution architects, and system administrators to deliver solutions.
  • Support testing efforts, including UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution.
  • Create functional documentation, process flows, and training materials.
  • Assist with data analysis, reporting, and dashboard requirements.
  • Provide ongoing system support, enhancements, and optimization recommendations.
  • Ensure solutions align with platform best practices, security, and data governance standards.

Requirements

  • 8+ years related field or equivalent experience with 3+ Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
  • Expertise in gathering requirements and writing functional specifications.
  • Expertise with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Expert in process flow documentation, design and implementation experience
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel and Visio or similar skills.
  • Advanced speaking and writing communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Advanced knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Advanced to expert experience in process and data analysis with deep critical thinking skills.
