Applications Engineer

Applications Engineer who can help put together technical solutions and proposals for customers. This person will work closely with sales and engineering to understand what a customer needs, design a solution (like layouts and diagrams), and help price it out so it's competitive.

What they'll actually do day to day:

• Review customer requirements, drawings, and specs

• Help design electrical solutions and basic layouts

• Build out pricing and cost estimates for proposals

• Work with vendors to get equipment quotes

• Support sales during client conversations and presentations Help transition projects from the proposal stage to execution Other details:

• Hybrid role in Wendell, NC (2-3 days onsite)

• Could become mostly remote depending on experience Minimal travel

What they're looking for:

• Engineering degree (electrical or mechanical)
• At least 2+ years of experience
• Bonus if they've worked with medium voltage power (switchgear, transformers)
• Comfortable reading one-line diagrams and technical specs
• Familiar with basic industry standards (ANSI, IEEE, etc.) Some experience with tools like AutoCAD or Visio
