Job description

Peraton is seeking Enterprise Capabilities Architects to drive the development and advancement of our corporate technical portfolio. In this role, you will design innovative service offerings, strategies, and architectures that enhance Peraton's market leadership across key specialty areas, including Cloud/Enterprise IT, Cybersecurity, Digital Transformation, AI/Data, and Mission Engineering.

You will collaborate closely with technical teams, program leaders, partners, and corporate strategy stakeholders to shape Peraton's technical offerings. As a thought leader and advocate for innovation, you will create reusable frameworks, methodologies, and solutions to strengthen our competitive advantage and align with corporate growth objectives.

This position will be located in Reston, Virginia., * Assess emerging technologies, customer requirements, and market trends to guide the evolution of Peraton's technical capabilities and offerings portfolio.

  • Develop innovative, scalable, and reusable frameworks, architectures, and tools to advance Peraton's technical leadership and differentiation in core markets.
  • Partner with subject matter experts, sector growth teams, and program stakeholders to define technical strategies aligned with customer needs and corporate objectives.
  • Analyze capabilities, technology readiness, and gaps to identify opportunities for portfolio enhancements, R&D, and investment.
  • Communicate technical visions, roadmaps, and solutions effectively to customers, capture teams, and leadership to advance both internal efficiency and market competitiveness.
  • Provide thought leadership through white papers, customer engagement, and participation in industry events to showcase Peraton's expertise and innovation in advanced technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, systems engineering, or related field, and 16+ years of industry experience OR 14+ years with a Master's OR 10+ years with a PhD.
  • Deep expertise in at least one of the following domains: Cloud/Enterprise IT, Networking, Cybersecurity, Digital Transformation, AI/Data, and Mission Engineering.
  • Proven ability to design, develop, and implement innovative technology solutions or architectures.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to work across diverse teams, with excellent communication skills for conveying technical strategies to varied audiences.
  • Familiarity with federal government customer sectors and mission challenges.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

Desired

  • 10+ years of experience in portfolio or offering development in one or more of the key technical domains listed above
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture, ITIL, Agile, or similar frameworks.
  • Active Top Secret clearance preferred; TS/SCI with Polygraph eligibility desired.
  • Thought leadership experience, such as industry engagement, certifications, publications, or patents.

Benefits & conditions

$190,000 - $304,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. EEO
