Job description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to lead the design, administration, optimization, and support of enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and hybrid cloud environments. This role partners closely with managed service providers and internal IT teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable network operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong enterprise networking expertise, advanced troubleshooting skills, and experience managing infrastructure projects, network security initiatives, monitoring systems, and ITIL-based operational processes. This position serves as a technical escalation point and provides leadership and mentorship to junior staff.
This is ahybrid role in our corporate headquarters in suburban Philadelphia (Colmar, PA) with the expectation to be onsite two days per week. Primary Duties
- Lead engineering and support efforts for enterprise LAN/WAN and SD-WAN environments
- Design and maintain hybrid cloud connectivity solutions
- Serve as senior escalation point for network incidents and outages
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and connectivity issues
- Lead infrastructure expansion and upgrade projects
- Coordinate change management activities and project implementation
- Ensure network environments meet security and compliance standards
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on vulnerability remediation and compliance initiatives
- Develop and improve monitoring, alerting, and event management processes
- Coordinate with managed service providers to support infrastructure operations
- Perform disaster recovery planning and testing
- Create and maintain network diagrams, SOPs, and technical documentation
- Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call rotation
- Mentor and support junior network staff
- Travel up to 25% as required

Requirements
Technical Skills
- Advanced knowledge of enterprise networking and security concepts
- Strong experience with Cisco and Meraki networking technologies
- Experience supporting SD-WAN and hybrid cloud networking
- Strong understanding of DHCP, DNS, routing, switching, and VPN technologies
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring and event management tools
- Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS cloud networking
- Understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity practices
Soft Skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote-based environment
- Strong collaboration skills with internal teams and external providers
Relevant Certifications Desirable
- CCNA or CCNP
- CompTIA Network+ / Security+
- Azure or AWS certifications
- ITIL Foundation or higher
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the Contributor is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one location to another; Contributor is expected to be able to rack and install networking equipment. Education / Experience
- 5+ years of enterprise networking experience preferred
- Strong experience with Cisco and Meraki networking technologies
- Experience supporting SD-WAN and hybrid cloud networking

This role is also eligible for a bonus. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate.
