Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field, with substantial professional experience in data analysis and reporting.\n
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including report design, data modeling, and DAX.\n
  • Strong understanding of star schema design and database principles.\n
  • Advanced SQL skills for querying and transforming complex data sets.\n
  • Proven ability to mentor junior team members and conduct peer code and report reviews.\n
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with experience collaborating across teams and stakeholders.\n

  • Design and develop advanced reports and dashboards using Power BI, applying best practices in storytelling and user experience.\n
  • Perform code and report reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and adherence to team standards.\n
  • Lead training sessions for end users, empowering them to utilize reports and self-service analytics effectively.\n
  • Monitor Power BI feature releases and updates, integrating new functionalities into team workflows.\n
  • Design and implement complex data models using star schema principles to optimize performance and scalability.\n
  • Apply advanced DAX techniques to create dynamic and calculated measures for complex reporting needs.\n
  • Utilize advanced features of Tabular Editor 3 to optimize data models and reporting workflows.\n
  • Contribute to database design discussions, working with Data Engineers to align structures with reporting requirements.\n
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues in data pipelines, models, and reports to ensure accuracy and reliability.\n
  • Ability to handle ambiguity, actively seeking and driving clarity where needed, and be adaptable to change.\n

  • Required to complete advanced DAX training, such as the Mastering DAX course.\n
  • Actively work toward advanced certifications, such as PL-300 (Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst).\n

  • Expand knowledge in integrating Power BI with other platforms and tools, such as Power Automate or Azure.\n
  • Stay informed on emerging trends in data visualization and analytics to drive innovation within the team.\n
