Job description
We are seeking a highly organized and tech-savvy Dental Office Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will combine dental knowledge with strong administrative and computer skills to support daily clinical operations, manage patient records, and optimize office workflow. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in dental software systems., * Manage patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, and follow-ups
- Maintain and update electronic dental records (EHR/EMR systems)
- Process billing, insurance claims, and payment transactions
- Coordinate with insurance providers to verify coverage and benefits
- Prepare treatment plans and cost estimates for patients
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Generate administrative and financial reports using office software
- Assist with inventory control and ordering dental supplies
- Support dentists and clinical staff with administrative coordination
- Implement and maintain digital filing systems and data organization
- Troubleshoot basic computer and software issues within the office
Requirements
Do you have experience in Spreadsheets?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Assisting, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a dental or healthcare setting
- Proficiency in dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR/EMR) systems
- Understanding of dental terminology and procedures
- Knowledge of insurance billing and coding, * Strong computer literacy and digital data management
- Administrative and organizational skills
