Job description

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Payments Solutions Architect to join their team. As a Payments Solutions Architect, you will be part of the Payments Department supporting innovative payment solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, strategic thinking, and collaborative skills, which will align successfully within the organization., * Architect and lead the design of complex payment solutions within the Payments domain, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture strategies.

  • Define and communicate the architectural vision, including microservices, cloud migrations, and container deployment strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and development teams to evaluate system impacts and ensure solutions are fit for purpose.
  • Mentor and guide teams in adopting cloud-native design principles and best practices in solution architecture.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to architecture governance standards.

Requirements

  • At least 20 years of experience in information technology, with a minimum of 2 years in financial services.
  • 15+ years of solution architecture experience, with a focus on large, complex systems.
  • Deep expertise in microservices architecture, cloud migrations, and distributed systems design.
  • Proficiency with AWS, Azure, GCP, or other cloud service providers.
  • Strong understanding of domain-driven design, UML, and integration patterns.
