Job description

Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Software Engineer 3's for a contract opportunity in Point Mugu, CA., Looking for a Software Engineer 2 to support our EA-18G Programs. As a member of the EA-18G software team you'll get to develop software to support our Growler Block 1 and Growler Block 2 programs. Responsibilities Develop embedded real-time system software. Work in an Agile environment as part of a scrum team. Resolve software and system defects. Collaborate with our customer, internal NGC sites and disciplines. Participate and contribute to peer reviews, critical milestone reviews, and technical inter-change meetings. Use project dependent tools including: Rational Clear Case, ClearQuest, DOORS. Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence. Ada, C/C++, C#, Python. Green Hills Integrity RTOS, Windows, and Linux., 9/80A schedule. This position will serve on-site at Naval Air Warfare Center, Point Mugu and our Camarillo, CA office.

Requirements

BS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 5 years of experience, or MS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 3 years of experience. Experience with a higher order language such as Ada, C/C++, C#. Knowledge of object-oriented software development. Ability to function as a member of an integrated team. Experience with version control systems (e.g. git, Bitbucket, ClearCase, etc.). US Citizenship required. DoD Secret Clearance or higher, interim Secret is acceptable., Strong verbal communication and customer service skills. Strong collaborative mindset. Experience working full software life cycle experience on large scale formal DoD program. Experience programming with Ada language. Experience programming with C++ language. Experience with real-time embedded software development. Experience working in an Agile environment. Electronic Warfare system development and design experience.

REQUIRED EDUCATION: BS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) is required. School must be accredited.
