Systems Administrator

We are seeking a Systems Administrator with a strong focus on Windows environments to support and maintain backend infrastructure, servers, and virtual environments. This individual will play a key role in ensuring system stability, performance, and reliability across the organization.

• Strong experience with Windows Server administration

• Hands-on experience with VMware (especially infrastructure and backup support)

• Solid backend/server-side experience

• Strong troubleshooting skills across systems and servers

• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues - Experience supporting higher education or public sector IT environments

• Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions

• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)

• Experience with system monitoring and performance tuning tools

• Scripting experience (PowerShell or similar)

Experience working in hybrid or distributed environments

$32/hr to $39/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
