Job description

  • Automate AWS infrastructure tasks (e.g., AMI rehydrations, password rotations every 60 days) for efficiency.
  • Manage AWS services like VPCs, EC2, RDS, PostgreSQL, S3, and Lambda, ensuring secure and scalable operations.
  • Implement monthly enterprise ETB fixes by applying documented updates accurately.
  • Design and deploy automated solutions using Python, with dashboards and reporting for infrastructure monitoring.
  • Build and maintain Jenkins pipelines to automate CI/CD deployments and updates.
  • Execute disaster recovery exercises annually, ensuring business continuity.
  • Leverage SNS for notifications and DMS for task automation.
  • Apply Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC), ensuring consistent infrastructure deployments.
  • Implement AI-driven coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cloud and Vin Surface) to accelerate development.
  • Manage migrations, ensuring seamless transitions with minimal downtime.

Requirements

  • Extensive AWS experience: VPC, EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, IAM roles.
  • Strong Python automation skills, including dashboards and APIs.
  • Proven experience with Jenkins pipelines for automated deployments.
  • Terraform knowledge for infrastructure as code.
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL and RDS backup management (manual and automated).
  • Experience with disaster recovery planning and execution (annual DR tests).
  • Hands-on knowledge of SNS for notifications, DMS for task automation.
  • Familiarity with AI coding tools like GitHub Copilot and cloud-based solutions.
  • Ability to apply complex documentation and drive infrastructure changes.
  • Problem-solving mindset, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for cutting-edge automation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in FinTech or regulated industries.
  • AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps) - optional but highly preferred.
