We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Petroleum Storage Tank Compliance Specialist to support underwriting and regulatory compliance efforts through the review of underground storage tank (UST) documentation and records. In this role, you'll work closely with facility owners, operators, contractors, and internal teams to evaluate compliance records and identify deficiencies or missing information.
What You'll Do:
- Review leak detection records and UST compliance documentation
- Evaluate spill, overfill, corrosion protection, containment, and sensor testing records
- Review annual and periodic walkthrough inspection documentation
- Identify missing, incomplete, or deficient compliance records
- Communicate with facility owners, operators, consultants, and contractors as needed
- Maintain accurate electronic records and documentation
- Support underwriting and regulatory review processes
- Assist with additional compliance-related projects as assigned
Requirements
- Experience with UST systems and regulatory compliance preferred
- Knowledge of federal and state underground storage tank requirements
- Experience reviewing compliance reports and testing documentation
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic record systems
- Experience in environmental consulting, petroleum equipment, regulatory programs, or UST inspections preferred

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
