Job description
- Data Product Ownership - Own the full product lifecycle, define vision and roadmap, translate business needs into user stories, and prioritise the backlog.
- Stakeholder Management - Act as the bridge between technical teams and business users, facilitating workshops and aligning expectations across multiple workstreams.
- Delivery - Drive design and implementation of Data Products and Data Fabric solutions, overseeing testing, release planning, and production deployment.
- Governance - Maintain product documentation, define KPIs, ensure compliance with data governance standards, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Background in utilities, energy, electricity transmission, or infrastructure
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
- Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and master data
- Exposure to analytics, BI, or reporting solutions
- Understanding of Net Zero or energy transition initiatives
- Proven experience as a Data Product Owner, Product Owner, or Data Delivery Lead
- Strong track record delivering and managing enterprise Data ProductsExperience within Data Fabric or modern cloud-based data ecosystems
- Ability to translate business requirements into deliverable technical solutions
- Full delivery lifecycle experience including production releases
