Job description
The Help Desk Admin is responsible for supporting day-to-day business and Help Desk operations in a fast-paced environment. This role plays a key part in keeping daily operations organized and running efficiently by handling administrative tasks, coordinating mail and facility-related needs, tracking incoming and outgoing shipments, supporting equipment return processes, and assisting with Help Desk operational duties and employee support.
This position also serves as a central support resource for operations, employees, vendors, and Help Desk teams by helping maintain an efficient, professional, and service-oriented workplace while ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, and strong attention to detail., * Manage the sorting and distribution of inbound Help Desk, Operations, and package deliveries (FedEx, UPS, USPS, Amazon), while overseeing outgoing shipments including packaging, label creation, carrier drop-offs, and tracking returned equipment.
- Maintain inventory of shipping and office supplies and coordinate replenishment as needed
- Provide reception desk coverage during breaks, absences, and staffing gaps
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company records and information
- Support operations by ordering and distributing supplies across multiple departments
- Assist with mail distribution for more than 80 departments and over 1,200 employees
- Process equipment return box requests, including shipment coordination, tracking, and follow-up
- Support departmental projects, audits, and additional Help Desk-Operations tasks as assigned
- Mail stamping for all departments.
- Sending dealer compliance mail out and contracts to Tennessee.
- Parking pass distribution for all the departments
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Do you have experience in Task prioritization?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments
- Problem-solving mindset with sound judgment and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to occasionally lift between 25-50 pounds
Education and/or Experience
- High School diploma required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
