Job description
You will report to the Sr IT Manager and work out of our Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA location on a hybrid basis. Note: for the first 90 days, new hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F., * Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their Production Planning, Production Execution and Quality management processes (collectively referred as SAP PP and QM), challenges, and requirements.
- Solution Design: Design SAP S/4 HANA solutions for SAP PP and QM processes, considering industry best practices and business needs.
- Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize SAP PP & QM modules according to business requirements, including MRP Live, ePPDS, Order types and related processes.
- Integration: Collaborate with integration teams to ensure seamless integration between SAP PP/QM and other systems.
- Testing: Develop and execute test scripts to ensure the configured solutions meet business requirements and perform as expected.
- Training and Documentation: Provide training to end-users on new processes and functionalities. Create documentation including user manuals, configuration guides, and training materials.
- Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP PP & QM solutions, including troubleshooting issues, applying patches, and implementing enhancements.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within SAP PP & QM, leveraging new features and functionalities of SAP S/4 HANA.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and other consultants to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an SAP consultant specializing in SAP PP and QM, with a focus on SAP S/4 HANA.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP Production Planning and Quality modules, including configuration, customization, and integration.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4 HANA implementation projects, including full lifecycle implementations and system conversions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
