Job description
The Release Coordinator / Change Coordinator is responsible for managing end-to-end change and release activities, ensuring all changes are compliant with enterprise standards, policies, and timelines. This role acts as the central point of coordination across development, quality assurance, and stakeholders to enable smooth, compliant, and high-quality releases., * Partner with Development Teams, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to create, manage, and submit high-quality Change Requests (CRQs) with accurate and complete details.
- Coordinate end-to-end release activities, including planning, scheduling, approvals, implementation, and post-production validation.
- Drive CRQ lifecycle management, ensuring timely approvals, risk mitigation, and clear audit trails.
- Facilitate dependency management, risk identification, and issue resolution related to releases and CRQs.
- Provide regular status updates on releases, timelines, risks, and blockers to stakeholders and leadership.
- Ensure compliance with Enterprise Change Management policies and standards for all releases.
- Lead release readiness activities, including QA validation, resource alignment, communication planning, and evidence collection.
- Perform quality checks to reduce failures by validating completeness and accuracy prior to submission.
- Support post-release activities, including validation, incident tracking, and lessons learned.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Release Coordination or Change Management within enterprise environments.
- Experience working for a top bank
- Hands-on experience with CRQ tools and processes (e.g., Remedy or equivalent).
- Solid understanding of SDLC and release lifecycle processes.
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).
- Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, and change management systems.
- Organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple releases simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes and practices.
- Experience with automation, reporting tools, or MIS tools (e.g., Excel, Access).
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and work under deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to build partnerships across teams and drive alignment.
