Software Test Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test systems for hardware
• Write and own test automation code (not execution-only roles)
• Support hardware testing at scale
• Build and deploy test infrastructure for lab and manufacturing environments
• Partner closely with hardware engineering teams
• Perform on-site testing with physical systems

• Software engineering experience applied to hardware testing
• Experience working with hardware products strongly preferred
• Candidates without hardware experience must be clearly motivated to transition into a hardware-focused role
• Experience developing or supporting hardware test automation systems
• Comfortable working in lab, manufacturing, or production environments

Technical Skills

• Programming experience (Python preferred)
• Test automation development
• Experience working in hardware-focused testing environments

Work Location

• Primarily on-site
• Limited to no remote flexibility due to hardware access requirements

Employment Type

• Contract-to-hire
• Hourly contract with intent to convert to full-time

Interview Process

• Take-home technical assignment
• 1-2 technical interviews

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $100.00/hr.
