Job description
- Lead and grow the Core Infrastructure team, setting vision, priorities, and execution for foundational cloud services.
- Own the design, deployment, and operation of shared cloud primitives: GCP orgs & folders, networking, load balancers, compute, base images, Terraform frameworks, and upgrades.
- Define and enforce best practices for scalability, security, observability, and maintainability across the cloud platform.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to enable fast, safe, and reliable development and deployment workflows.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes, automation, and infrastructure reliability.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and technical excellence.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Tooling?, * 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong expertise in GCP, including organization/folder structure, networking, compute, load balancing, and IAM.
- Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform).
- Proven track record of designing and operating scalable, reliable cloud systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on technical understanding., * Experience base image management, and automated upgrades.
- Familiarity with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud infrastructure.
- Experience in high-growth, fast-moving technology companies, preferably in SaaS or CCaaS.
- Comfort working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and operations teams.
