Job description

In this role, you will be the first line in person support for our team members. You will handle everything from hardware deployments and local network/printer troubleshooting. We don't expect you to know everything, but you must know how to research problems, follow documentation, and intelligently escalate complex issues when necessary., * User & Identity Management: Handle day-to-day user lifecycle tasks in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Office 365, including password resets, account unlocking, and basic license management.

  • Data & Collaboration Support: Basic knowledge of OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Online.
  • Desktop & Peripheral Support: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on Windows 11 (and macOS, if applicable). Take ownership of local and network printer troubleshooting and workstation setups.
  • Network Troubleshooting: Assist users with basic connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi, local area networks (LAN), and home-routing issues for remote staff.
  • Work Location & Travel Requirements This is a fully onsite position based at our Indianapolis 78th street office. Due to the collaborative and hands-on nature of the role, there are no remote or work-from-home options available. Additionally, this position requires occasional light travel.

Requirements

We are seeking a motivated, tech-savvy Entry Level Desktop Support Technician to join our growing IT team. If you love solving problems, have a solid understanding of modern cloud environments (Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune), and excel at providing excellent customer service, this is the perfect role to launch your IT career., * 1+ years of IT experience (Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Geek Squad/retail tech) OR an Associate's degree/Certificate program in a technology field.

  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Cloud Ecosystem: You must understand the basic relationship between Office 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
  • Strong Troubleshooting Instincts: A proven ability to look at an error or data sync issue, research a solution, and apply a fix methodically.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional patience, empathy, and clarity when communicating with non-technical users who are locked out of their accounts or files.
  • Eagerness to Learn: A drive to keep up with changing cloud technologies and documentation practices.

Nice-to-Haves :

  • CompTIA A+ certifications.
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102).
  • Basic familiarity with PowerShell script execution., * Help desk: 1 year (Required)
  • Desktop support: 1 year (Required)
  • Microsoft office 365: 1 year (Preferred)
