The Information Technology Manager serves as the senior technology leader for the organization, responsible for aligning IT strategy, execution, and governance with business objectives. This role provides executive level oversight and direction across IT operations, security, projects, vendors, and internal teams. The IT Manager is accountable for strategy, prioritization, decision making, and orchestration - ensuring technology initiatives that are cohesive, proactive, and business driven. This position is not focused on day-to-day technical execution, but rather on leadership, accountability, and outcomes.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Develop, own, and execute IT strategy and roadmap aligned with organizational goals and growth objectives.
- Serve as the primary technology advisor to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
- Provide centralized leadership and authority across IT operations, security, projects, and vendors.
- Oversee departmental budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, and cost optimization.
- Ensure the stability, scalability, and security of IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
- Ensure all network and technology components operate cohesively to support business needs.
- Establish governance, standards, policies, and escalation paths across all IT functions.
- Lead and oversee IT initiatives and programs as part of larger business strategies.
- Set clear priorities, timelines, and accountability for technology initiatives.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, platforms, and vendor solutions to drive business value.
- Identify risks, vulnerabilities, and inefficiencies, and ensure mitigation plans are executed.
- Prepare and present cost benefit analyses and strategic recommendations for major initiatives.
- Oversee vendor relationships to ensure performance, value, and alignment with business needs.
- Ensure disaster recovery, business continuity, and risk management plans are defined, tested, and maintained.
- Provide executive level communication, reporting, and decision support.

Requirements
Do you have experience in Vendor relationship management?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Seven (7) or more years of progressive IT leadership experience, including strategic and executive facing responsibilities.
- Demonstrated experience operating at a Director, vCIO, CIO, or equivalent leadership level.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ITIL, Microsoft, networking, or security certifications preferred.
- Strong understanding of enterprise environments (e.g. Microsoft 365, Active Directory, cloud platforms, security tooling).
- Experience with governance, budgeting, vendor management, and executive reporting.
- Strong understanding of enterprise backup, recovery, and risk management practices.
- Ability to work onsite 5 days/week.

Compensation Package:
- $100,000-$125,000 annually
- Bonus opportunities
