Job description
Kobus Technologies is seeking an MSP Support Technician II to join our growing Managed Services team. This role is responsible for providing advanced technical support across workstation, server, network, and Microsoft 365 environments for multiple business clients., * Diagnose and resolve escalated workstation, server, and networking issues
- Support Windows 10/11 and Windows Server environments
- Configure and troubleshoot switches, firewalls, wireless networks, and VPNs
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365 environments
- Perform server patching, backup management, and disaster recovery support
- Install and deploy workstations, servers, and network equipment
- Assist with virtualization platforms including Hyper-V and VMware
- Provide both onsite and remote support for business clients
- Maintain accurate documentation of tickets, configurations, and network changes
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding service requests and resolutions
- Recommend hardware and software improvements when appropriate
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Network infrastructure?, The ideal candidate will have prior IT support experience, strong troubleshooting abilities, and excellent customer service skills. This position requires the ability to manage escalated support requests, work independently, and maintain professionalism in fast-paced client environments., * 2+ years of IT support experience
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and business IT environments
- Experience with networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and VPNs
- Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration
- Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred
- Previous MSP experience
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Server+ certifications
- Microsoft certifications
- Experience with Hyper-V or VMware
- Experience with firewalls, managed switches, and cybersecurity solutions
