Job description
- Partner with business teams to translate marketing, loyalty, and customer engagement needs into data science solutions
- Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model development to support personalization initiatives
- Build, test, and deploy machine learning models for targeted campaigns, re-engagement, and customer optimization efforts
- Collaborate with data, engineering, and infrastructure teams to support scalable model deployment and data pipelines
- Communicate findings, model performance, and recommendations clearly to business and technical partners
- Support the development of data products, reporting, and visualizations that drive business decisions
- Contribute to best practices in coding, documentation, testing, and model lifecycle management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or another quantitative field
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience in data science, analytics, or machine learning
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and common machine learning/data science libraries
- Experience building and evaluating machine learning models
- Strong understanding of exploratory analysis, feature engineering, and model performance metrics
- Ability to write production-quality code and follow software engineering best practices
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex findings to varied audiences, * Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline
- Experience with personalization, customer segmentation, churn modeling, recommendation systems, or A/B testing
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, Databricks, Spark/PySpark, Docker, Kubernetes, or MLOps tools
- Experience supporting marketing, loyalty, or customer engagement analytics initiatives

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
