SAP Business Data Analyst (Fixed Assets)

We are seeking an experienced Business Data Analyst to lead the end-to-end management of fixed assets and lease accounting data as part of a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation. This role is responsible for ensuring data integrity, supporting accounting outcomes through structured data, and driving migration from legacy systems (PowerPlan) into S/4HANA Advanced Asset Accounting and Finance4U., * Own and manage the full lifecycle of fixed asset and lease accounting data, including master data, transactions, and balances.

• Translate accounting requirements (US GAAP, ASC 842) into data structures, transformation rules, and system logic.
• Lead data migration--extraction, cleansing, mapping, validation, and reconciliation.
• Own integration of assets and lease data across S/4HANA modules (FI, MM, Project Systems, Finance4U).
• Define, integrate and execute cutover of fixed asset and lease data, including timing of stop/start activities against in-process projects and ensuring balance reconciliation.
• Develop and maintain data governance standards, validation rules, and quality metrics surrounding fixed assets and lease accounting data.
• Lead data readiness and creation to support all testing efforts (SIT/UAT).
• Support post-go-live stabilization, close cycles, and audit activities.

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in fixed asset accounting, lease accounting, or financial systems.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Advanced Asset Accounting, and Project Systems required.
• Experience with lease accounting solutions such as Finance4U or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of data migration, data mapping, and reconciliation processes.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and lease accounting standards (ASC 842).
• Experience working on large ERP transformation programs.
