Scrum Master

We are hiring a Scrum Master for a one-year project in Brussels, with 50% on site and 50% homeworking. The role is part of an Agile Scrum framework and focuses on supporting the project team in applying the methodology effectively. The start date is as soon as possible., * Set up and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review, Sprint Planning, Retrospective, and other meetings.

• Schedule and follow the key steps of the methodology.
• Ensure smooth use of the Scrum methodology and help the project team overcome obstacles.
• Provide assistance or support to the Product Owner regarding the Product Backlog.
• Assist and support the team in delivering the Definition of Done, Sprint Backlog, and related items.
• Track team capacity and velocity metrics for planning and progress purposes.
• Coach and challenge the project team.
• Help the project team face difficulties and promote gradual self-organization.
• Remove barriers to team effectiveness and protect the team from outside distractions.
• Act as an ambassador for Agile methods within the organization.
• Provide reporting on the proper deployment of the Scrum methodology within projects.
• Manage risks and issues.

• You have 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
• You have knowledge of Agile reporting and follow-up tools, such as Jira.
• You have sound knowledge of software development methodology.
• You have sound knowledge of project management methodology.
• You have knowledge of Agile methodology and techniques, such as Kanban.
• English proficiency
• You have a good command of French and/or Dutch.
