Job description

Our client is looking for a highly experienced engineer to contribute to a strategic and sensitive data intelligence project.

The mission focuses on strengthening observability, monitoring and advanced analytics capabilities through robust and secure ELK-based architectures. The environment requires a high level of precision, confidentiality and technical expertise in secure infrastructures and mission-critical data pipelines.

The ideal candidate combines strong expertise in Linux, Windows Server, Docker environments and advanced Business Intelligence reporting capabilities with deep mastery of the Elastic Stack (ELK).

As a Senior ELK & Business Intelligence Engineer, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

ELK Architecture & Data Engineering

  • Design, implement and maintain advanced ELK pipelines:
  • Logstash
  • Elasticsearch
  • Kibana
  • Develop scalable and high-performance data ingestion and transformation pipelines
  • Implement parsing, enrichment and quality control mechanisms
  • Optimize Elasticsearch cluster architecture, indexing and aggregations
  • Ensure platform scalability, reliability and performance optimization
  • Support advanced analytics and anomaly detection initiatives

Business Intelligence & Reporting

  • Develop advanced dashboards and reporting solutions aligned with business KPIs
  • Integrate ELK solutions with BI and visualization tools:
  • Power BI
  • Grafana
  • Tableau
  • Support data modelling, analytics and reporting capabilities
  • Improve auditability, traceability and reporting reliability
  • Deliver actionable insights through data visualization and monitoring solutions

Infrastructure, Security & Monitoring

  • Manage and optimize Linux and Windows Server environments
  • Configure and maintain Docker-based infrastructures and virtual environments
  • Implement monitoring, alerting and observability mechanisms
  • Ensure security best practices:
  • Encryption
  • Access control
  • Secrets management
  • Support system troubleshooting, performance tuning and cross-platform integration
  • Ensure compliance with security and governance requirements

Documentation & Governance

  • Produce technical documentation and audit-compliant deliverables
  • Contribute to data governance and operational best practices
  • Ensure proper traceability and maintainability of solutions
  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders in sensitive environments

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in:
  • Data Engineering
  • Observability and monitoring systems
  • Business Intelligence platforms
  • Proven experience building scalable, secure and high-availability data solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work autonomously in complex and high-security environments
  • Results-driven, rigorous and quality-oriented mindset
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality

Technical Skills

Mandatory

  • Deep expertise in ELK Stack:
