Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled MES Solution Architect with proven expertise in Pharma Suite (Rockwell Pharma suites is preferred) to drive the design, development, and implementation of our manufacturing execution systems. In this critical role, you will act as a technical leader, working closely with clients to ensure the seamless integration of MES with enterprise and shop-floor systems. You will spearhead standardization efforts, guide recipe design, and build scalable teams to meet growing production demands within a strictly regulated pharmaceutical environment.
What you will be doing:
- Lead the creation of Process Requirement Specifications (PRS) and the overarching design of MES recipes.
- Implement core library components, leveraging advanced templatization strategies to drive standardization and harmonization across manufacturing processes.
- Design and execute seamless integration and data flow architectures between the MES and critical adjacent systems, specifically ERP (SAP), LIMS, and DCS.
- Actively scale the MES team in alignment with increasing project demand, including the clear identification and onboarding of key personnel.
- Provide structured knowledge transfer, coaching, and enablement to client teams to build long-term internal capability.
- Oversee and coordinate German-speaking MES recipe authors and support personnel to ensure high-quality recipe creation.
Requirements
Do you have experience in SAP S/4HANA?, * Technical Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience and architectural knowledge in Pharma Suite or other MES in the life science industries.
- System Integration: Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing interfaces between MES and enterprise/shop-floor systems, with strong working knowledge of SAP, LIMS, and DCS.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, QA documentation, and testing frameworks.
- Regulatory Fluency: Strong working knowledge of critical industry standards: GxP, GAMP etc.
- Language Skills: Fluent German is strictly required for collaborating with MES recipe authors and personnel, alongside professional proficiency in English.
- Leadership Capabilities: Demonstrated ability to mentor teams, transfer knowledge effectively, and scale resources dynamically based on project needs.
- Hybrid On-Site: On-site presence is required at least from Tuesday to Thursday to ensure highly collaborative MES recipe development, testing, and team alignment.
