Your tasks:
- Design and develop modern FPGA architectures for data-intensive embedded systems
- Develop and implement FPGA designs using VHDL
- Implement complex communication and bus systems such as AXI, PCIe, Ethernet, SPI, or CAN
- Develop application logic, state machines, and control logic
- Analyze and implement concepts for fault tolerance, redundancy, and robust system behavior
- Perform simulation, verification, and debugging of FPGA designs
- Support bring-up, integration, and validation activities
- Create technical requirements, specifications, and development documentation
- Collaborate closely with FPGA, hardware, and software engineers in interdisciplinary teams
Requirements
Do you have experience in Simulink?, * Degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Engineering, or a comparable technical field
- Due to employment and compliance regulations, remote work is currently limited to candidates based in Germany, France, Italy, or Spain.
- Several years of experience in FPGA development
- Strong knowledge of VHDL, RTL design, and FPGA implementation
- Experience with Xilinx technologies such as Spartan, Zynq, Kintex, or Versal
- Confident working with Vivado, Vitis, and verification tools such as Modelsim or Questa
- Experience with data- and bus-intensive systems including AXI, PCIe, DMA, DDR, or Ethernet
- Understanding of FPGA and system architecture concepts
- Experience with robust and fault-tolerant design concepts is an advantage
- Knowledge of Python, Matlab/Simulink, or Embedded Systems is desirable
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN
- Fluent English communication skills, German is a plus, Please be advised that a valid work permit for Germany is required for non-EU citizens. Unfortunately, applications without a valid work permit and sufficient German language skills may not be considered.
