Job description
We aren't just looking for someone to "build features." We're looking for a product-minded iOS Engineer who wants to own a slice of the city. Whether it's optimizing a checkout that handles thousands of orders a minute or building a seamless help journey, your work will be in the pockets of millions.
Choose Your Impact ️ We're hiring for specialized squads where your code directly affects the user's experience: * Checkout & Performance: High-stakes, high-speed. You'll own the "Cart-to-Checkout" flow, optimizing latency-sensitive paths and making reorders feel instant.
Core Experience: Build the backbone. From address management to social features and the notification engine that keeps the whole city in sync. Support & Help: Be the hero behind the scenes. You'll revolutionize our in-app help journeys, integrating chat and ticketing to ensure no user is left behind. Discovery & Identity: You are the "front door." You'll architect the login, signup, and high-traffic homepage-where every pixel and every millisecond counts. ️ Retail Expansion: Go beyond the burger. Help us build the future of high-street retail, grocers, and supermarkets on mobile.
What You'll Do ️
- Collaborate: Work in a tight-knit, cross-functional squad of Backend and mobile engineers.
- Scale: Use modern Swift and reactive programming to build systems that don't just work-they scale.
- Own: Take a feature from a whiteboard sketch to a global rollout. You own the quality, the testing, and the delivery.
- Mentor: Even as an engineer, you'll be a technical reference, helping peers grow while you push our standards higher.
Requirements
Do you have experience in iOS development?, What You Bring to the Ride ️
- 6+ years of full-time iOS experience (Swift is your native tongue).
- UI Mastery: Deep knowledge of the iOS SDK and the ability to craft pixel-perfect UI from code using AutoLayout.
- Architecture Mindset: You understand OOP and design patterns, and you know how to build for stability.
- Test-Driven: You believe a feature isn't finished until the unit tests are passing.
- The "Plus" Factors: If you know your way around DataDog/Grafana, have dabbled in Fullstack (Java/Kotlin), or contribute to Open Source, you'll fit right in.
