Senior C# Software Engineer - Rotterdam - ALTEN

As part of our expanding team, we are looking for a talented C# Software Engineer to join us in Rotterdam and contribute to impactful, high-tech client projects across a variety of industries.

As a C# Engineer, your main tasks will include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications using C# and the .NET ecosystem
• Translating technical specifications into robust, scalable, and efficient code
• Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical challenges with innovative solutions
• Ensuring code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best engineering practices
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and performant end-to-end solutions
• (Optional but valued) Applying your C++ knowledge in projects where native integration or performance-critical modules are involved

Do you have experience in Software development?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Bachelor's or Master's degree (HBO/WO) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline

• 5+ years of professional experience in C#/.NET software development (Medior to Senior level)
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture principles
• Experience with modern .NET frameworks, tooling, and development workflows
• C++ knowledge is a strong plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and clients
• Proactive mindset with eagerness to learn, improve, and explore new technologies
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
