Job description
We are looking for an experienced and driven BI Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will not only drive data-driven decision-making across the organisation but also coach and develop a team of analysts. You will play a key role in shaping our data strategy, mentoring team members, and ensuring high-quality insights that directly impact business performance.
Working closely with Finance, Marketing, Operations, and senior leadership, you will extract actionable insights from our data, helping optimise operations, enhance member experiences, and support our ambitious growth plans., Data & Analytics
- Conduct market research and analyses to identify new club locations
- Develop business cases for expansion, including new builds, mergers, and acquisitions
- Design, build, and maintain robust ETL processes to structure data from various sources
- Create data models, views, tables, and reports supporting operational and strategic goals
- Develop dashboards and visualisations to enable informed, data-driven decisions
- Analyse growth, customer behaviour, and performance to identify opportunities and risks
- Query databases to uncover insights related to revenue, member retention, and engagement
- Translate data into actionable recommendations to support commercial and strategic decisions
Leadership & Team Management
- Coach and develop a team of Data Analysts
- Establish best practices in analytics, reporting, and data governance
- Act as a key stakeholder for senior leadership, translating business needs into analytical solutions
- Drive continuous improvement within the BI team, including tools, processes, and capabilities
Requirements
Do you have experience in Team management?, * 5+ years of experience in a data-focused role (e.g., Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or Analytics Consultant)
- Proven experience coaching, developing or managing a team
- Strong expertise in data modelling, pipeline creation, and analytics
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, with solid experience in Azure SQL environments
- Hands-on experience building ETL pipelines, ideally using Python or Azure Synapse Analytics
- Extensive experience with Power BI, with a track record of building impactful dashboards
- Strong business acumen, ideally within fitness, wellness, retail, or a consumer-focused industry
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex insights into clear business actions
- Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
- Experience in fast-paced, scaling organisations is a plus
- Located in the Netherlands
To foster collaboration, coaching, and team energy, we expect our colleagues to work on-site (head office or clubs) at least 4 days per week (and up to 5 days depending on the role).
