Job description

Are you looking to grow your career within a high-tech and security-focused IT environment? For NXP Semiconductors we are currently looking for a Junior Secure IT Environment Officer to support secure infrastructure operations and governance activities within a complex international organization. In this role, you will support the review, coordination, documentation, and follow-up of infrastructure and network-related changes in secure IT environments. You will work closely with infrastructure architects, security stakeholders, and service teams in a structured and process-driven environment. Your responsibilities

  • Support the review of infrastructure and network-related change requests
  • Review firewall rules, connectivity requests, and access requests based on predefined standards
  • Validate the completeness and accuracy of submitted requests
  • Follow up with requestors regarding corrections or clarifications under senior supervision
  • Support compliance reviews and secure environment checks
  • Assist with audit preparation and evidence collection
  • Maintain operational tracking documents and structured records
  • Participate in operational meetings regarding workload, handovers, and priorities
  • Coordinate with infrastructure, security, and service teams to progress assigned tasks

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of networking concepts, IP addressing, ports, and protocols
  • Basic understanding of firewall rule structures
  • Familiarity with segmented or secure IT environments is a plus
  • Experience or affinity with ticketing systems and service request workflows
  • Strong attention to detail and structured way of working
  • Clear and professional written communication skills
  • Ability to follow procedures accurately and escalate issues when required
  • Comfortable working in a process-driven and compliance-focused environment
