Job description
You'll work as part of a supportive team, providing IT support to office-based users and field technicians, helping ensure day-to-day systems run smoothly and issues are resolved efficiently
Acting as the first point of contact for IT-related queries, providing timely and professional support to end users, you will diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and basic network issues, escalating to senior team members or third parties where appropriate. You will configure and support Windows laptops, Android devices, and iPhones. Our colleagues rely on the team to support and troubleshoot business applications used across the organisation.
The role requires you to assist with user account management, permissions, and access rights in line with company security policies, while supporting the delivery of an interesting and varied range of IT projects and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, You will also maintain accurate and up-to-date IT documentation. Ideally, you will be someone with a desire to improve systems and processes continuously, working collaboratively with colleagues to provide an industry leading service to our colleagues across the business.
You'll already have:
- Experience working in a 1st/2nd line IT support role.
- Working knowledge of ITIL-aligned service desk practices.
- Good understanding of Microsoft 365 and Windows 10/11.
- Confident troubleshooting hardware, software, and basic networking issues.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt your approach to different users.
- A methodical problem-solving approach with good attention to detail.
Preferable
- Experience with MDM solutions (e.g. SOTI).
- Exposure to device management using Intune.
- Knowledge of phone systems and call flows.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft certifications.
