Infrastructure Support Engineer | Peiriannydd Cymorth Seilwaith

We're seeking an Infrastructure Support Engineer to join our IT team in a developmental, hands-on role supporting servers, networks, virtualisation and security systems. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with early experience (or an apprenticeship / placement background) who wants to grow their technical skills in a supportive environment.

What you'll do

• Assist with day-to-day infrastructure operations (servers, storage, virtualisation and networks)
• Monitor system health, dashboards, backups and alerts
• Carry out routine tasks, checks and basic diagnostics
• Resolve lower-level incidents and escalate complex issues to senior engineers
• Support backup, patching and basic security activities
• Maintain accurate documentation, asset and configuration records
• Work within ITSM processes (Incident, Request and Change)

Do you have experience in Virtualization?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Practical experience in an IT infrastructure or technical support environment

• Basic understanding of servers, operating systems, networking or storage
• Ability to follow procedures and work methodically
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• A strong desire to learn and develop in infrastructure technologies
