Job description
We're looking for an enthusiastic individual to join Shot Scope's growing commercial team during an exciting period of international growth. You'll work closely with our Marketing, and Content teams to uncover insights from millions of golf shots played by golfers around the world.
This role would suit a Data Analyst who is passionate about golf, enjoys working with data, and wants to develop within a fast-paced and forward-thinking company.
You'll help turn golf performance data into meaningful insights, engaging stories, and industry-leading research that supports marketing campaigns, media coverage, product development, and commercial.
Role Responsibilities
- Analyse golf performance data to identify trends and player insights
- Create benchmarking analysis across handicap levels and player types
- Produce reports, dashboards, and visualisations for internal content
- Complete ad-hoc analysis for external data partners
- Support marketing campaigns, PR and social content with data-driven research and statistics
- Translate internal golf shot data into clear and engaging narratives (shot scope social media stuff, working with team)
- Maintain accuracy and consistency across reporting outputs (validating new database with old stats)
Requirements
Do you have experience in Tableau?, * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of golf and golf statistics
- Experience working with large datasets
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical teams
- Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Python for data analysis (includes cleaning, validation, visualisation)
- Use SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyse large-scale golf and commercial datasets
