has an excellent opportunity for an IT Network Engineer to join our Corporate Headquarters on-site in Birmingham, AL. - Senior level position expected to provide top tier of support related to the design, installation, management, and maintenance of our nationwide network of sites and users
- Implementation, Management and troubleshooting of Cisco and Aruba networks
- Communicate with end-users in order to provide top tier support for network issues
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of network architecture experience is required for this senior level position; 10-12 years of relevant experience is ideal
- Bachelor's Degree and previous IT consulting experience highly preferred
- Experience with Aruba AP's, Cisco Switches/Routers, Palo Alto Firewalls, MS Radius and Avaya Phones a plus.
- Solarwinds, Cisco ASA Firewalls, Firewall Management Center knowledge.
- Palo Alto experience a plus
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service and ability to communicate with all levels of cross-functional teams
- Ability to logically troubleshoot in order to create innovative and practical solutions for problems as they arise
- Ability to manage individual tasks and move projects towards known goals with minimal supervision in a team-based, fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Ability to travel, as needed, to support networks across the country. Travel less than 10% of the month.
- Participate in an on-call rotation with other team members
