- Set clear sprint goals, drive demos, and maintain visibility into milestones, risks, and overall progress
- Break work into achievable increments to ensure predictable delivery
- Lead delivery across components with backend stacks in Python or .NET/C#, based on needs
- Ensure clear ownership, consistent engineering standards, and operational reliability across all components
- Plan and execute .NET-to-Python migrations for targeted components while maintaining stability of business-critical systems

- Drive practical adoption of agentic SDLC with human-in-the-loop quality, testing, and security controls
- Maintain strong automated testing coverage and reliable release practices
- Track and report key engineering metrics, including updates to Atlassian Compass
- Facilitate bi-weekly live demos from cloud environments and ensure consistency in delivery
- Maintain transparency through regular status updates
- Own timely resolution of Information Security (InfoSec) findings
Requirements
- Proven experience leading an engineering team and delivering software in iterative cycles
- Strong practical backend experience in Python and hands-on experience maintaining existing .NET/C# services
- Experience working in mixed .NET and Python environments, including phased migration from .NET to Python
- Strong frontend experience with Next.js, Web Components, and Module Federation; Angular migration experience is valuable
- Experience building cloud-native applications on Azure (AWS and GCP experience is also acceptable)
