Data Scientist and Instructor

Noblis is seeking a Data Scientist/Instructor to support our customer in Springfield VA. This position shall be able to demonstrate their extensive understanding of advanced concepts and skill by applying them in complex or novel situations. They shall be able to apply deep tradecraft-specific skills in scenario-based learning events, and exams. Bringing analysts of different GEOINT tradecrafts together in these learning events/exams will require this role to understand how other GEOINT tradecrafts and multiple intelligence sources may be applied to address problems for today's policymakers, warfighters, and other federal agencies. As a senior instructor, this role will be focused on providing support to Intermediate (3000) and Advanced (4000) learning levels and courses, but is also capable of supporting Fundamental (2000) earning levels and courses within the Data Science content area., * Contributes to the success of an account, function and/or project, aligning activities with company strategy

Do you have experience in Machine learning (ML) fundamentals?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * US Citizenship is required.

• Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain CI Polygraph.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited (i.e., regional, national, or institutional) academic institution, related to their assigned area of expertise (i.e., Computational Thinking, Programming, Statistics, or Data Visualization).
• 10 years of experience focusing on the concepts and applications of data analytics, computer science and programming, data modeling, Artificial intelligence and machine learning.
• 2 years delivering learning content to adult learners in a classroom setting.

Desired Qualifications:

• TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
• GEOINT experience.
• A master's degree from an accredited (i.e., regional, national, or institutional) academic institution, related to their assigned area of expertise (i.e., Computational Thinking, Programming, Statistics, or Data Visualization).
• Department of Defense (DoD) Basic Instructor Certification.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis' total compensation package.

Posted Salary Range: USD $132,900.00 - USD $207,750.00 /Yr.
