Job description
The IT Project Manager is responsible for coordinating, planning, and leading computer-related activities in an organization. They will help determine IT needs and are responsible for implementing computer systems to fulfill the organization's information systems requirements. This position is responsible for ensuring all IT functions are running smoothly for a growing company. Leads and guides the work of technical staff. Plans a variety of projects and assesses business implications for each stage. Monitors progress to assure deadlines, standards, and budget targets are met. Drives ways to innovate, improve, and streamline wherever possible. This position requires exceptional communication skills with the ability to establish relationships and build rapport with internal and external customers.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Tooling?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- IT Project Management experience: 1 year preferred , including strong people, project, and vendor management capabilities.
- Health information management experience: 1 year preferred.
- Experience in leading IT within a multi-site organization, preferably in healthcare.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Knowledge of information security issues and best practices.
- Knowledge of telephony systems and related best practices.
- Advanced skill in developing tools, programs and services. Ability to develop informative and succinct management status reporting, managing service level agreements, establishing key performance metrics and continuous process improvement culture.
- Combination of education and experience may be accepted providing it adequately demonstrates the candidate's ability to perform the essential job duties.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Advanced computer skills preferred, with expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel as well as cloud-based accounting software.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to interact with high level executives and physicians.
