Job description

The IT Manager is responsible for the strategic direction, administration, security, and day-to-day operation of the company's technology infrastructure. This hands-on leadership role oversees IT support services, transportation technology platforms, systems integration, cybersecurity initiatives, vendor relationships, business intelligence reporting, and technology modernization efforts. The IT Manager partners with all departments to ensure technology systems are reliable, secure, scalable, and aligned with business objectives., * Oversee the company's technology infrastructure, including networks, servers, telecommunications, hardware, software, and transportation technology systems.

  • Provide hands-on technical support and leadership for daily IT operations, helpdesk services, and infrastructure performance.
  • Support and maintain AS400, TMW, Trimble, Omnitracs, Qualcomm, DriveCam, and other business-critical systems.
  • Manage system integrations, EDI processes, data synchronization, reporting solutions, and technology automation initiatives utilizing tools such as SQL, Power BI, and Python.
  • Lead technology projects, vendor implementations, software upgrades, and infrastructure improvements to support business objectives.
  • Manage vendor relationships, software licensing, technology contracts, and service agreements while identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
  • Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, system documentation, security standards, disaster recovery plans, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Ensure departmental goals, project milestones, and budgets are achieved while delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with department leaders and team members.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Employee relationship building?, * A college degree or equivalent is required.

  • Supplemental certifications are preferred.
  • A minimum of two (2) years' experience in related positions is normally required., * Interpersonal leadership and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal relations.
  • Proficient analytical and data processing skills.
  • Exceptional PC skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to motivate and mentor direct reports.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills along with the ability to keep good records and maintain electronic and printed documentation on all projects.
  • Experience with AS400 and transportation management systems a plus.
