Job Summary: The Information Technology and Inventory Manager is responsible for managing the organization's information technology systems including accurate recording and reporting of physical inventory., 1. Cultivate positive relations with program participants, agency and community partners, volunteers, donors, staff and other constituents upholding our organization's commitment to treating all with fairness, dignity and respect.

Keep up to date on industry trends, have working knowledge of the Feeding America Partner Food Bank Agreement requirements, information contained on HungerNet, and the Learning Hub, as it relates to the Information Technology and Inventory Manager position.

Manage the organization's IT systems (computer hardware, software, internet, telephone, etc.) providing leadership, training and support to staff.

Serve as the organization's primary information technology system (Ceres 5) expert, overseeing accurate management, utilization, development and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P.s), staff training and support, especially as it relates to physical inventory management.

Evaluate, recommend, and oversee implementation and training of new technologies and upgrades to enhance the organization's IT capabilities.

Support the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of organizational systems and data.

Ensure sound management of the organization's physical inventory in Ceres 5 including the recording of weekly spot-checks of a minimum of 10 items on inventory, a minimum full quarterly inventory.

Manage the development, preparation and accurate submission of required inventory reporting.

Oversee product expiration dates and ensure timely movement of physical inventory to avoid food waste. Work with staff to "market" products with slow movement.

Ensure the timely unloading, inspection, inventory and coding of all products arriving at the facility.
Financial Management

Support the development of a departmental budget by the Director of Operations by the established deadline.

Support the control of departmental expenditure in accordance with the approved budget.

Other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Record keeping?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelors Degree in computer science or equivalent experience/education (two to four years)
- Interest in hunger issues or related social services
- Computer proficiency including experience with Microsoft 365
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organization skills and an attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, exercising initiative and sound judgment
- Ability to work as a team with various staff members
- Sound data/record management
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly, 100 pounds occasionally; frequently lift, bend and stand
- Satisfactorily pass pre-employment drug testing
- Forklift Operator Safety Training (may be obtained following hire)
- ServSafeâ Certification or equivalent (may be obtained following hire)
Qualifications Preferred:
- Knowledge of, or experience with, physical inventory management
