Job description

  • Support and lead efforts of the design, testing, evaluation and implementation of new systems architecture
  • Architect, implement and support solutions using Business Continuity and Data Protection technologies
  • Design and deploy enterprise wired and wireless network infrastructure across multi-site and campus environments
  • Implement and support SD-WAN solutions (Cisco, Meraki, and/or Fortinet)
  • Configure and manage network access control (NAC) and wireless security solutions including Cisco ISE
  • Work closely with OEM, break-fix and integration vendors during systems implementation and troubleshooting
  • Assist with requirements gathering for proper design/installations
  • Participate in meetings with customers, providing input on various initiatives
  • Collaborate with third-party support and service vendors to ensure systems stay operational (support during an outage)
  • Prepare client documentation including network designs, network assessments, implementation plans, and post-implementation documentation
  • Follow up with client, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution
  • Keep apprised of patches, latest technologies, and upcoming infrastructure installations
  • Research new technologies

Requirements

Do you have experience in Wireshark?, * Active CCNP certification (Security, Enterprise, or Wireless) or active Fortinet FCP/FCSS certification

  • Extensive experience with enterprise wireless design and deployment - Cisco, Meraki, and/or Fortinet
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
  • Proficiency with switching - Cisco, Meraki, and/or Fortinet
  • Experience with SD-WAN technologies - Cisco, Meraki, and/or Fortinet
  • Extensive firewall experience - Cisco, Fortinet, and/or Palo Alto
  • Extensive routing experience (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc.) including configuration, redistribution and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with wireless site survey tools preferred
  • Extensive packet capture experience - fluent with Wireshark
  • Able to work with minimal direction
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise networking (preferred), * enterprise networking: 5 years (Preferred)
