Cloudshape is experiencing rapid growth within our IT & Engineering Portfolio. We are currently seeking a talented Sr. Cloud Engineer to join our growing team. This person will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and managing a secure, scalable, and highly available solutions on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. To be considered for this position, US Citizenship and an active Secret security clearance is required. This is a funded position on a 10-year contract and is contingent upon verification of a security clearance prior to starting with Cloudshape. Basic Qualifications

Requirements

At least eight (8) years of overall IT experience with 6+ years of AWS cloud experience with a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related field or equivalent professional experience. Design, manage and deploy AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch while utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as AWS CloudFormation and Terraform, to automate the deployment and management of infrastructure resources. AWS Solution Architect Professional certification US Citizen with an active secret security clearance. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, proficient in using the AWS CLI, PowerShell, and Python, to identify and resolve issues in an AWS environment. Extensive experience in Implementing version control and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for infrastructure code. Preferred Qualifications: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience with Azure is highly preferred
