Job description
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of IT to lead all technology initiatives across our restaurant operations. This role is responsible for infrastructure, systems integration, cybersecurity, and IT support-ensuring seamless, secure, and efficient technology experiences for both guests and employees. You'll partner with executive leadership to align IT strategy with business growth, while also supporting day-to-day operations across multiple locations., * Develop and execute a company-wide IT strategy aligned with business goals and expansion plans
- Support the planned growth of the company, overseeing multiple properties throughout Texas and Tennessee.
- Lead IT budgeting, forecasting, and vendor negotiations
- Build and manage relationships with third-party technology partners
- Oversee all IT infrastructure including networks, hardware, cloud systems, and on-premise solutions
- Ensure reliability and uptime across restaurants, hotel, and corporate office
- Manage system rollouts for new openings, renovations, and concept launches
- Manage and optimize key platforms including POS systems (e.g., OpenTable, Toast), and inventory/ERP tools
- Ensure seamless integration between systems (POS, reservations, accounting, payroll, CRM)
- Support digital guest experiences such as online ordering, reservations, and mobile engagement
- Establish and enforce cybersecurity policies and best practices
- Ensure PCI compliance and protection of guest/payment data
- Lead internal IT support or manage outsourced helpdesk services
- Partner with leadership to improve reporting capabilities and data accessibility
- Support business intelligence tools and dashboards
- Ensure data integrity across all systems
- This position involves routine travel (approximately 25% of the time) to collaborate with regional teams and oversee on-site operations.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Vendor relationship management?, * 7-10+ years of IT leadership experience, preferably in hospitality, restaurants, or hotels
- Strong knowledge of multi-unit IT infrastructure and systems
- Experience with POS (e.g., OpenTable, Toast), and integrated hospitality tech stacks
- Proven experience in cybersecurity, PCI compliance, and risk management
- Experience managing vendors, contracts, and IT budgets
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting both restaurant and hotel operations
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Background in systems integrations and API-based platforms
- Experience scaling IT infrastructure for growing organizations
- Ideally, located in Nashville
