- Collaborate with Product, Analytics, Design, Operations, and other engineering teams to develop a technical roadmap that meets customer & business needs
- Coach, develop, retain, and provide thoughtful feedback to team members
- Hold a high technical bar with a bias towards longevity and simplicity
- Foster a team culture around innovation, accountability, empathy, and execution
- Collaborate & align with other engineering leaders across Affirm
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technology management?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * 7+ years of Engineering experience, including 3+ years of Engineering Management/Leadership
- Experience and desire to change consumer financial services for the better
- Track record of successfully architecting, building, launching, and growing financial products at scale
- Proven ability to scale and foster a high-performing engineering team
- Strong cross-team communication and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical rigor, innovative mindset, obsession over product excellence, and an ability to move fast
- Card network experience is a plus
- This position requires either equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field

Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills.
Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents.)
USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year: $225,000 - $275,000 USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year: $200,000 - $250,000
