And our work depends on TS/SCI level cleared Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer joining our team to support our Intelligence customer in Springfield, VA or St Louis, MO., *O&M of existing Red Hat OpenShift environment across multiple security domains in both Cloud and datacenter (vSphere) environments
*Support OpenShift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, RedHat GitOps
*Deploy OpenShift to new sites as they come online
*Work with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet them
*Work with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions
*Support data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elastic Stack
*Compile detailed documentation
Requirements
Platform as a Service (PaaS),Red Hat OpenShift,Scrum (Agile)
Experience:
5 + years of related experience, *Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
*5-8 years Developer experience
*Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA
Desired Skills:
*Experience deploying and managing RedHat Open Shift in a cloud and/or vSphere environment
*Experience with Amazon Web Services
- Python, Shell scripting, Git
*Linux distributions: RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS
*CI/CD orchestration tools: GitLab CI, Jenkins
*Container technology: Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem in general
Benefits & conditions
The likely salary range for this position is $119,850 - $162,150. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
