Job description
LMCU is looking for a Senior Network Architect who will be responsible for the architecture, design, and strategic direction of the organization's enterprise network infrastructure, including voice, video, and data systems. This role ensures high availability, scalability, and security of network systems while driving modernization, standardization, and long-term infrastructure strategy. The Senior Network Architect partners with IT leadership, vendors, and cross-functional teams to design solutions that meet current and future business needs.
What you'll do:
- Own the end-to-end network architecture across data center, branch, and cloud connectivity. Define and maintain network standards, design patterns, and reference architectures. Lead technology selection decisions (routing, SD-WAN, security, voice platforms). Develop and maintain long-term network roadmap and lifecycle strategy. Drive resiliency and DR design, including failover and redundancy strategies.
- Design complex network solutions including LAN / WAN / SD-WAN architectures, advanced routing (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), segmentation, VLAN strategy, and QoS, secure edge and perimeter architecture, and data center Network Design. Lead design reviews and approve all significant network changes. Ensure solutions align with security and compliance requirements.
- Provide escalation support for complex network incidents. Oversee performance, capacity planning, and availability. Guide operational teams on troubleshooting standards and best practices. Ensure monitoring, observability, and alerting strategy is in place and effective.
- Lead architecture for major initiatives including SD-WAN deployments, data center design/ core refresh, voice / collaboration platform migrations, and security enhancements. Ensure projects follow standardized designs and governance. Identify dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Evaluate vendors and solutions for new initiatives. Act as technical lead for vendor engagements and escalations. Support lifecycle management (hardware/software refresh strategy).
- Partner with Infrastructure/Server teams, Security and Compliance, Desktop and Service Desk teams. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to network engineers/admins. Support documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements
Do you have experience in Team leadership?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Seven or more years of network engineering and/or architecture experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, network engineering, computer engineering, or related field of study.
- Proven ability in leading or architecting enterprise-wide projects.
- Expertise in designing enterprise LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, data center, high-availability, and disaster recovery network architectures.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco or equivalent enterprise networking platforms, including BGP, routing policy, failover strategies, network security, and segmentation.
